(Under9, 10, 11) Entries for the County Competition AIT/Indoors on April 5th (Saturday)

We have 15 athletes competing in the Under 9's, Under 10's and Under 11's on the 5th.

All Ireland Indoor Championships 22/23 March 2014

Saoirse Wynne (Under 13, 60m Hurdles) and Ruth Cox (Under 15 Long Jump and 60m Sprint) compete in the All Ireland Indoor Championships on March 22nd and March 23rd at the Indoor Arena in Athlone.

Day 2 is Sunday and not Saturday as stated on the timetable

Gold and Silver from the Connacht Indoor Championships

North Roscommon Athletic Club had 12 competitors at this year's Connacht Indoor Championships at the Indoor Arena in Athlone on Saturday last.

Saoirse Wynne competed in the Under 13, 60 metres Hurdles, an event she excels in and duly won the gold medal. 

Ruth Cox competed in her specialist events of 60 metres sprint and long jump at Under 15 level and successfully won silver medals in both events. 

Congratulations to Saoirse and Ruth on their successes.

Both athletes now go forward to the National Indoor Championships on the 21^st/22^nd March at the Athlone Indoor Arena.
